Some advice for travelling with ‘your wig on’, and whilst none of us are travelling anywhere right now, let along flying, when life is back to normal keep this in mind.
It’s hot at the airport, so whilst I find that your wig doesn’t necessary make your head hot, if you get hot overall, your head will start to sweat.
So … wear lots of layers that you can take off as you start to get hot, and if you remain cool in ‘your body’ it will be reflected on your head.
If you get overheated, and assuming you don’t want to do this in public (I didn’t) pop into the Ladies and ‘whip’ your wig off and have a cool down.
I’ve done that a few times now in different situations and it really helps.
Oh, and don’t worry, wigs don’t set of the security scanners (phew).
